Château Clamens is a family estate run by Jean-Michel BEGUE, inherited from the Clamens family, and extends over 20 hectares across the commune of Fronton. It is located on the banks that the Tarn river has let appear when it withdrew. Its structure takes part in 3 different terroirs : Fronton, Pompignan and Fabas, which brings originality and complexity to the wines made. The preferred grape varieties are Syrah, Côt, Merlot and Négrette. 5 distinct vintages for multiple flavors… The red wines gather around the vintages : – ” Caractère ” which has aromas of violets, pears and prunes, – ” Julie ” which celebrates kirsh, black fruits and spices / declined in rosé, – ” Templars ” which evokes cooked black fruits and woody perfumes, – and finally the “Prestige” cuvée for the originality of the liquorice and the freshness of the red fruits.
