What is tree climbing? It’s a plant exploration! It allows participants to discover the tree and its environment by climbing from the roots to the top in complete safety. This activity is different from the tree climbing courses.

Tree climbing is a unique and sensory activity that allows participants to discover the tree and its environment by exploring it from the roots to the top in complete safety, by learning different climbing techniques and by using specific standardized equipment called PPE (personal protective equipment). Unlike tree climbing courses, tree climbing is an ephemeral and itinerant activity, the ropes used are removed at the end of each activity in order to limit our impact as much as possible. You are supervised throughout the session by a qualified instructor. We also evolve in small groups, in the middle of nature. An exploration of plants! Who is it for? The activity is accessible to all, whatever their physical condition, from 6 years old, including people with disabilities (adapted techniques) Discovery formula: Duration: 2h30 – All year round First steps, learning different rope techniques, exploring the vegetation from the roots to the top (no obligation to go all the way to the top, the participant chooses his or her maximum height). Movements in the tree. Notions of dendrology SENSATION formula : Duration : 3h30 – All year long Learning of different rope techniques. Spectacular workshop: Pendulum jump, Tyrolean traverse, Monkey bridge, Sensational Tyrolean traverse… Training courses: Duration: 4 sessions of 3 hours – All year long Objective “Autonomy”. Throwing a small bag. Alternate climbing. Installation of anchors. Movements in the tree. Basic knowledge of dendrology. Tree trekking (going from tree to tree) Bivouac Perché : Duration : Evening + Night – All year long Climbing session at the end of the afternoon to set up your hammock (putting up your sleeping bag, getting comfortable…) Shared meal at the foot of the tree (you bring your own meal) Night climbing with a headlamp to settle in your hammock Secure night in the tree (the educator sleeps at the foot of the tree, within earshot, if necessary) Breakfast offered after the descent (coffee, tea, herbal tea or fruit juice with croissants and chocolate bread) 7 people maximum: 2 single hammocks and one double hammock more one Tentsile Trillium 3 persons
