GANGES , Hérault – Activities
About
From introductory caves accessible to all, to active networks for enthusiasts, a selection of the region’s most concretion-rich caves.
Situated between the Gard and Hérault departments, not far from Montpellier, the Thaurac massif, known for its exceptional landscapes, also hides in its bowels some real gems of the underground world.
From introductory caves open to all, to active networks for the more adventurous, we have selected for you the most concretion-rich caves in the Hérault region.
Particularly adapted to the age and level of participants, these journeys into the bowels of the earth will enable you to discover the full range of progression techniques: descents into the void, small narrow passages, concretion chambers and, for the most adventurous, a hundred-meter-long chatière.
