For children who are new to skiing or who want to improve their technique, the ESF in Guzet offers group lessons to suit all levels. Your child will work with an instructor to ensure effective progress in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
1st stage of the apprenticeship: Preparatory course for medals from Teddy Bear to 3rd star.
2nd stage of learning: After the 3rd star, the story continues with the team stars. The best way to have a great holiday, meeting other young people your own age and improving your skills for even more fun.
Joining Team Étoiles is not just about improving your skills…
It’s also about discovering the skiing techniques that will help you become more independent and confident. With stopwatches, first tricks, first jumps, multi-slide and challenges, progress is fun and easy.
And why not, for those who really want to, take the Étoile d’Or?
Bronze Star: First giant mini-slalom. I quickly link more or less tight turns, changing rhythm. My first jumps over light moguls. I stay in a schuss and refine my balance in the air. My first scull. My first explorations of different types of snow. I test my footing to improve my agility.
The Silver Star: I’m becoming more precise in long trajectories, with less and less skidding. I’m perfecting my leans and my style to refine my sculling. My first time on a giant mini-slalom. My first simple jump figures.
L’Étoile d’Or: I perfect my turns and sculls on varied terrain. I’ve mastered the technique of jumping to perform dream tricks! I’ll improve my technique so I can have more fun on prepared terrain (skiercross or half-pipe), without fear. I can improve my time on the giant mini-slalom. I can ski without stopping over long vertical drops and on all types of snow… I’m a great skier!
Accueil : EQUIPMENT :
– Your own equipment (marked skis and boots),
– a helmet (highly recommended for children taking lessons with the ESF).
– Sunglasses or preferably a mask,
– anorak, mittens, sun cream, pack of tissues
– a small snack for a break during the lesson.
– Insurance, equipment and ski pass are not included in the price.
The E.S.F. reserves the right to cancel or combine two lessons if there are fewer than 4 students.
