The swimming area is located at the tip of the peninsula, with a choice of full sun or shaded breaks and picnic areas.

For the bathing :
– A large bath of 120m² (max. 3 m deep)

– A buffer zone delimited by yellow buoys: swimmers and boats “share” the Cantal – Aveyron waters of the Sarrans Lake in peace.

Supervised swimming from mid-July to the end of August: Tuesday to Sunday from 2:30 to 6:00 pm.

On foot : the marked and playful circuits of “Loulou la loutre” : 1- from the banks 1km / 2- from the village 650m / 3- St Gausbert 400m.

You can choose between 2 PR trails: the Jou trail allows us to get some height with a view on Laussac and the PR trail “La Presqu’île de Laussac” a big loop to join “the mountain” in the village of Thérondels.

You will also find on the site a pedal boat and canoe rental at Camping La Source. You will be able to cast your fishing lines, or to launch your boat (equipment of a launching, hiring of pontoon). A few minutes by car, the life of the lake is explained by the famous Sarrans dam, a hydroelectric structure that contributes to the production of renewable energy.
