Cantelauze, “larksong” in Occitan, in the commune of Duravel, has a very long history of wine production. Vineyard history and heritage surround this property in its attractive setting within a meander of the Lot. The house, in the traditional Quercy style, dates from 1791… “We have taken the time to get to know our soils and conditions thoroughly, and to create wines in harmony with their exact place of origin; each one is vinified in a specific way.” By choosing to use the Malbec grape, the original variety used for Cahors wine, and vinifying it as a single-variety wine for all our AOC production as well as our rosé, Château Cantelauze is able to offer you very individual, expressive wines with a great finesse.

Accès : From Cahors, take the D811 towards Villeneuve sur Lot. In Duravel, take the D58 for Vire sur Lot. 1,5Km after leaving Duravel, turn right.
