Château de Chambert

About

The Château de Chambert offers you a multitude of new experiences : introductory workshops for adults and children, guided tours of the winery, convivial themed tastings, paths for rambling… you’ll know all about the world of Biodynamics ! In July/August, a bistro/wine bar is open on site for snacks/light refreshments. Introductory workshops and tastings are also offered.

Visites : Group visits by appointment, charge for visit and tasting. Tasting free of charge for individuals. Visit of the 800-barrel cellars in summer, Monday to Friday, free of charge. Visits begin outside, in front of the château, with a presentation of the history of the domain and the architecture of the building, then continue beside the vines with an explanation of viticulture and Biodynamics. Next, the winery and cellars where the wines are aged, and finally a tasting.

Accès : From the D656 Agen/Cahors, take the Floressas road from St Matré or Saux. You can also get here via Puy l’Evêque or Prayssac.
