Since the days of the French Revolution, successive generations of Messieurs Saur & Fils have ensured the development this 60-hectare vineyard. The high-quality Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, and the acidic schist soil mean that this estate is one of the shining beacons of the AOC Faugères. The house wines are barrel-aged and bottled in-house and can be enjoyed in the vaulted cellars that date, in their oldest parts, from the 12th century.
