On the shores of the Mediterranean, in the middle of ponds, rises an island with lush vegetation. It is home to the elegant Château l’Esparrou and its 92-hectare vineyard. Born from a fragmentation of the Pyrenees, this unique setting is made up of a thick ground of rolled pebbles. Recognized for its muscats as one of the greatest crus of Roussillon since 1813, it is its reds from Côtes du Roussillon that have since distinguished themselves. A haven of peace and exoticism, Château l’Esparrou has inspired and still inspires many artists.
