About

Today, Chateau Planeres is the jewel in the crown of the Roussillon region, and it was only thanks to the hard work of several generations that it was able to flourish. The refined elegance of the Château’s wines is the fruit of the Jaubert-Noury family’s commitment. Like their forebears, they are aware that being a farmer is first and foremost a useful profession, but above all an art of living in harmony with nature, running a vineyard but above all passing on a winegrowing heritage and ancestral know-how. In a way, the vineyard has always been the clan’s bundle of joy: they cherish it on a daily basis, keeping a close eye on it at the change of seasons and pampering it all year round. As a good Catalan, it can sometimes be capricious, but without forcing it, they are patient so that it can cultivate its strong character, in other words the Mediterranean character of its terroir.
