About
Domaine de Cauviac isn’t a place like any other, it’s a family estate where generations have succeeded one another since 1524, located between Quissac and Sauve. The vineyard covers 30 hectares.
With an easterly exposure, the vines grow on clayey marls, which enable us to harvest healthy, ripe grapes to produce generous, fruity, well-balanced wines.
The main grape varieties for reds are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. For rosés, Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, and for whites, Chardonnay, Viognier and Sauvignon.
IGP OC and IGP Cévennes wines are harvested, vinified and packaged on the estate. Ploughing, leaf thinning and harvesting are carried out with respect for tradition and the environment.
