A Tyrolean, clay-limestone terraces, traditional grape varieties, a few digs and the art of focusing on the good stuff. Domaine de l’Accent offers a range of organic wines, produced with respect for the land, vines and environment, on the Terrasses du Larzac. It was Konrad Pixner who landed on the Terrasses du Larzac to make his dream come true. Born in Italy, in the German-speaking mountains of South Tyrol, to a father who worked as a mechanic and a mother who was a primary school teacher, he took the gamble in 2018 to create his own estate, stone by stone, in the south of France. In 2013, after a master’s degree in Viti ?no (SupAgro, France – Portugal – South Africa), travels and experiences in various wine-growing regions, he straddled the line between research (doctorate in ?nology in Geisenheim- Germany), and practice (?nologist for a winery deep in the Italian Alps). A passionate winegrower ?nologist, he finds his happiness on the Terrasses du Larzac, working alone on his vines and his wines, guided by his ideas nourished by the practices of the terroir, his know-how and his art of emphasizing the good things.
