La Différence is the story of 3 wine-loving friends who dreamt of making a great nectar in Roussillon: “The vine is wild, the grapes are promising. It wants us and we’ll be proud of it”. The vineyard extends over 12 hectares at the foot of the Tautavel Vingrau cirque, in the heart of a breathtaking landscape dominated by sheer cliffs. On these clay-limestone and schist marl soils, the work from the vine to the cellar is carried out with great concern for the environment, with minimal use of chemical inputs. Tautavel’s terroir, passion and know-how have been making a difference in the glass for the last fifteen years. In the cellar, Ghislaine will help you taste the treasures of the estate, and you’ll be won over by her professionalism and kindness. She will tell you the story of the estate’s great cuvée, simply called La Différence. A masterpiece of wine-making from a 1.4 hectare plot.
