The Domaine de Montmarin, a former royal seigneury, has been owned by the Sarret family for thirteen generations Located on the outskirts of Montblanc, the Domaine de Montmarin was purchased in March 1488 by Nicolas de Sarret, direct ancestor of the current owners. The estate covers 400 hectares and stretches along a line of slopes overlooking the Gulf of Lion to the south. The vineyard is composed of clay-limestone and sandy-silt soils combined with a typically dry and windy Mediterranean climate favored by the proximity of the sea less than 2km away.
