From Alsace to Costières de Nîmes, Kreydenweiss vineyards combine ancestral know-how with the sunshine of the South of France.
Wine is above all a family affair for the Kreydenweiss family. The takeover of this winery in Manduel, on a terroir of rolled pebbles emblematic of the lower Rhône Valley, is the singular expression of a family of winemakers in search of excellence.
On this sun-drenched land, they realize their dream of making great, deep red wines. But they don’t deny their origins by planting Alsatian white grape varieties, the basis of one of their emblematic cuvées. This surprising wine, with its exotic aromas of blood orange and kumquat, is made from a complex blend of 7 white grape varieties.
Today, the estate’s 26 hectares comprise 18 hectares of vines, 1 hectare of olive groves and ½ hectare of truffle oaks, all managed according to biodynamic principles.
