About
Dominique Henry’s passion for wine has been handed down to his son Clément, who now looks after the vineyard where he grew up. Both men are generous-natured vine-growers and wine makers. Their 6 hectares of vines are planted exclusively with the Malbec variety, and benefit from the calcareous clay soils of the first terraces of the Lot. Located in the heart of the AOC Cahors vineyard area, their property lies at the foot of the picturesque village of Puy L’Évêque ; the vineyard’s small area enables them to be reactive : harvesting is still done by hand, the soil is worked mechanically and Nature is respected. All this has encouraged Clément to undertake the conversion of the vineyard to Organic Agriculture. New feature : tours in a 2 CV around the Cahors vineyards and their villages.
