About
The vineyard of Domaine Moulinier is nestled on the top of the Pierrerue hillsides in the heart of the Saint Chinian appellation. Stéphane Moulinier cultivates here, using integrated pest management, the Syrah, Grenache and Viognier grape varieties to produce AOC Saint-Chinian wines. The estate also hosts 1000 olive trees, which explains its name (In Occitan, “le Moulinier” is the person in charge of making olive oil). The olive oils produced come from local varieties Located in the heart of Languedoc Roussillon, 1 km from the village of Saint-Chinian, the Domaine Moulinier covers 40 ha. The vineyard is divided into small plots, nestled on the top of the slopes at Pierrerue. Stéphane Moulinier, winegrower and his team cultivate Syrah, Grenache and Viognier grapes in sustainable agriculture to produce red, rosé and white wines. The Moulinier estate is indeed certified Vignobles & découvertes. The estate includes 5 hectares of olive trees, mainly varieties originating from the Hérault region.
