DOMAINE PONS GRALET

About

Domaine Pons Gralet was created at the end of the 1990s by Hélène and Christian. The 7-hectare estate has been farmed organically since 2002. The vines are located on very sunny slopes, and their low-yield cultivation allows the principles of biodynamic viticulture to be applied. The estate is part of the national Accueil Paysan network, with which it organises winegrower walks and a motorhome break. The walk will take you through the estate’s vineyards and olive groves, giving you a better understanding of the organic farming methods adopted over the last 20 years. You’ll also be able to admire the beauty and ruggedness of this demanding terroir, set in fragile, untamed Mediterranean scrubland, and ask yourself questions about the climatic, ecological, economic and human challenges facing farmers first and foremost.
