About
Located on the southern slopes of the Costières de Nîmes, the Commanderie de Cotelier vineyard represents the marriage between an ancient terroir and a contemporary approach to viticulture, but also a story of passion and commitment.
La Commanderie de Cotelier has been a family estate for several generations. Ludivine and Thibaud Verlaguet, heirs to a line of distinguished winemakers, proudly perpetuate the family tradition while breathing new energy into the art of winemaking.
The estate, located between Saint-Gilles and Franquevaux, extends over 50 hectares of vines.
Part of the building dates back to the 12th century, and originally housed a Templar commandery. The current winery was built in 1841. Surrounded by verdant vineyards and olive groves, it offers a peaceful atmosphere.
Come and explore the cellars or take part in a tasting of AOC Costières de Nîmes wine (white, rosé or red), as well as olive oil, honey and jams, nectars and fruit juices, by appointment…
