Cooperative winery with a 700-hectare estate, producing AOP Languedoc, Languedoc Sommières and IGP Pays d’Oc wines.

Les Vignerons du Sommiérois is the result of the merger of 3 cooperative wineries and operates a 700 ha vineyard in 7 communes between Nîmes and Montpellier, in the south of France. Since 1923, our winegrowers have worked with the utmost respect for the land and the environment, passionately crafting quality wines with a strong personality that reflect the Sommières terroir. Strict specifications and meticulous plot selection are the basis of our winemakers’ work. The quality of our wines has been rewarded with numerous medals each year. Thanks to this constant openness and our experience, we are now able to offer a wide range of tastes thanks to our different ranges of AOP Languedoc, AOP Languedoc Sommières and Vins OGP Pays d’Oc.

All our vines are cultivated using integrated farming methods, and some are organically grown (certified organic since the 2012 harvest). Benefiting from excellent southern exposure, our Sommiérois terroir is characterized by marl with a high clay and limestone content, alluvial soils, acid soils composed of fine red soil with flint, and exposed limestone pebbles where we produce our top-of-the-range AOP wines.
