Réalmont enter and be charmed by the story of this Royal House. You will enjoy the central location of the Realmontais to radiate throughout the Department. Here you meet the history of the Cathars, a moving cultural heritage and a welcoming nature. Today there are more than one reason to stay there: the usability of the market, the large square, the church Our Lady of Taur, the festival Re’al Croche… The best day to browse Réalmont is probably on Wednesday morning, the day of the traditional market where gather centuries of local producers. This weekly event is renowned throughout the Department, and as described so well by the Occitan poet Louisa Paulin, native of the place, “a village market, is the melody of a land”…
