In Montesquieu-Lauragais, 20 minutes from Toulouse and 35 minutes from Carcassonne, the Nègra caravan, unique in its kind, entirely in wood and well-equipped, on the immediate edge of the Canal du Midi and its lock of Nègra, awaits you to spend a stay in the “bohemian” spirit. In a vast enclosed and wooded land, you will enjoy staying there to rest during your bike ride along the Canal du Midi or to discover the local treasures. The accommodation capacity is 2 people with a 140 double bed and an additional convertible BZ sofa, which can be used mainly for sleeping children. The trailer has an integrated kitchen area with all the necessary crockery, top fridge, microwave grill, 2 gas burners with bottle. The bathroom with WC (dry toilets) is independent. The trailer has a high terrace for breakfast in a relaxing environment. A small water point is located nearby (pond secured by an alarm). You can also enjoy an outdoor swimming pool open in summer, shared with the occupants of 4 guest rooms labeled Gites de France and located in the main building. “La Roulotte de Nègra” offers free bikes. An outdoor and private jacuzzi for the occupants of the trailer will be set up for the 2021 summer season. Covered shelter for parking. Cyclists and bikers welcome. The bastide is 20 minutes from Toulouse and 35 minutes from Carcassonne. So you can discover cultural and tourist sites. On site, the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO world heritage site, the Nègra Lock, its chapel, its nautical base. Many villages from the 12th to the 18th century such as Villefranche du Lauragais, Montesquieu Lauragais, Castelnaudary are nearby. For your walks and nautical activities, beautiful lakes surround us (the Lampy, Thésauque, Saint-Ferreol, la Ganguise). For your shopping desires! the village of Nailloux brands is 5 minutes away. Warm welcome and modern comfort will be reserved for you before setting off again in the saddle!
