Enjoy the peace and quiet of this white stone house in a wine-growing hamlet in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards. It is a firm favourite with contemporary writers and authors.

Known as “La petite Toscane française”, the landscape is naturally gentle and restful, with vineyards and country lanes, dotted with bastides and medieval villages. In the distance, the foliage of the Grésigne forest dominates the hills and valleys, with wheat and sunflowers adding color to the palette.

This character house built of local stone offers you vast interior and exterior volumes, where each member of the family can enjoy their vacation at their own pace and according to their own desires. For moments of relaxation or solitude, two covered terraces and an arbour by the private swimming pool welcome you. The summer kitchen, housed in the old bread oven, lets you make the most of the sunny days.

Old-fashioned features (such as the kitchen garden, the forerunner of our hotplates) and more contemporary ones are combined in this home. Situated in the heart of the Pays Cordais region, you’ll be able to discover the Gaillac vineyards and the Pays des Bastides, medieval villages and towns, the most famous of which is Cordes-sur-Ciel, proudly bearing its name, perched on its hill. Don’t miss the bastides of Castelnau or Lisle-sur-Tarn, or the hilltop village of Puycelsi. Albi, with its Toulouse-Lauttrec museum, Episcopal City and cobbled streets, is a must-see.
