At La Soursol, the expression haven of peace is not overused; you feel out of time.

The somewhat enigmatic name La Soursol certainly reveals the presence of water and a spring on the property.

It’s a pretty farmhouse, several hundred years old, on the banks of the Tarn.

These old buildings, renovated inside and decorated with care in the style of the past, retain their red brick walls and pebbles patiently dug out of the bed of the Tarn. The henhouse, the woodshed, the chapel and the former pigsties are arranged around a shady, lawned patio planted with magnificent trees. The surrounding arcades evoke the image of a cloister.
Aiguelèze, a leisure centre 2km away (swimming, water sports, tennis, golf, fishing), is the perfect place for a pleasant bike ride.

La Soursol, with its patio and large grounds, offers a feeling of serenity in the heart of the Bastide region, close to the bustle of Albi, its famous Episcopal City, and the thousand-year-old vineyards of Gaillac.

Upstairs: three bedrooms (two with 90x190cm bunk beds and a third with a 140x190cm bed). Bathroom with bath and washbasin.
Very large garden where your children can run around and enjoy the games and the swing, lovely covered terrace ideal for eating outside in hot weather or when it’s not so hot, charcoal barbecue.
Electric heating and/or wood-burning stove.

This is the former Poulailler de La Soursol, which sleeps 6. For larger families, you can rent “Les Gîtes de La Soursol”, a set of two different buildings with covered terrace and large front garden to accommodate 10 people: 6 in the henhouse and 4 in Les porcheries. Reference G1053 on “Gîtes de France”.
The owners live in the house next door during the summer, with independent access.
