REFUGE DE L’ORRY D’ANDREU
OSSEJA , Pyrénées-Orientales – Rental accommodation
About
In the heart of the Osséja forest, at an altitude of 1916 metres, the two orris of the Jaça d’orri d’Andreu have been part of the local heritage for generations. Once used by shepherds, they were later used by farmers to store equipment for their livestock, before being abandoned to hikers and gradually falling into disrepair. Rémy, a resident of the village, decided to invest in this refuge, to renovate it and turn it into a guarded refuge. Six berths are now operational, as is the catering, using quality local produce. It’s a warm and welcoming place to come with your family, partner or friends on a walk or hike in the area.
