The commandery of Palhers was founded by the Knights of the Temple in the Middle Ages. A few peasants and craftsmen settled around it, and this is how the village of Palhers was created. From the 14th century until the Revolution, the commandery was served by the Hospitallers (or Knights of Malta). Located on the church square, it is a private building.
