About
The church dedicated to the Assumption is made of exposed stone. Rebuilt in the 18th-19th century, not much remains of the original Romanesque church, except for the 12th century Chrism exposed inside and found in the presbytery garden where it was used as a walker. Note that the alpha and omega are sealed to the Saint Andrew’s Cross by an arrow. The present building, with a single nave, was restored during the last century. The bell tower is decorated with three carved corbels, one of which represents a head and the other an animal. The beautiful baptismal basin in local stone, the serving chair and the painting representing a Virgin and Child are from the 19th century. Traduction automatique par DeepL via DATAtourisme
