Church of the Assumption in Berberust with its altarpiece and Virgin in gilded wood surrounded by putti on a blue background. The high altar represents on its central medallion an Assumption. It is framed by Saint John the Baptist and Saint Peter. The tabernacle with tripartite structures is surmounted by a cross, is attributed to Soubervie and dated 1670, except for the wings which are from the mid-18th century. The paneled roof, made of boat hulls, is studded with stars. The church of St John the Baptist in Lias is smaller and is nested in its immediate surroundings. Its bell-tower-wall has two twin bays.
