About

Tiny village of 21 inhabitants. The church is dedicated to Saint-Louis, protector of France and the monarchy. It dates from the 18th century. The 1752 porch gives access to a single nave, vaulted in a semicircular arch with panelling. Its high altar with frame and medallions as well as its altarpiece are attributed to the Lourdais Claverie. The altarpiece is composed of a large painting representing a crucifixion, it is framed on the left by a statue of Saint John the Baptist and on the right by a statue of Saint Peter. The tabernacle is attributed to the Soustre workshop. The building was renovated in 1991-1993. Traduction automatique par DeepL via DATAtourisme
