12th century church on a rocky peak, picturesque site in Bès Bédène, 13th century bridge.
Picturesque site, Bes Bédène is situated on a rocky granite spur set in a remarkable natural cirque. The priory was founded by Saint Gausbert in the 10th century. The Gothic style church was built in 1112. A 16th century altarpiece, statues, priestly ornaments are displayed. The bridge built in granite is a single full curve arch. This bridge assured the passage of a Roman road.
