EGLISE LOMBRES

LOMBRES , Hautes-Pyrénées – Cultural heritage

About

It is a 17th century parish church. Roman remains have been preserved: a marble tombstone, which originally bore three heads, is located near the church portal and two funerary stelae are displayed. This funerary stele was ordered for the death of the two children of a certain Rusticus, as the inscription “a bonna”: daughter of rusticus, “a taurinus”: son of rusticus testifies. It has been classified as a historical monument since July 16, 1951. Traduction automatique par DeepL via DATAtourisme
