No document allows to date the date of its construction It probably dates from the 13th-14th century (17th century chalice). It is of Gothic style with a stone vault. In the choir, there are three high windows with two compartments surmounted by a network of beautiful trefoils. Towards the end of the 16th century, a bell tower was added and the nave was extended. In the 19th century, two new bells were installed in the bell tower. In the heart, a plaster copy of the altarpiece of St Nazaire de Béziers and its four evangelists was placed. The statue of the Virgin known as “Notre Dame du Caylar” which was previously in the Penitents Chapel (route de Fleury), is installed in the parish church. It was classified as a historical monument in 1964. Restored in 1998, it is still used for masses and religious services.
