The first mention of this parish church dates back to 966. Of Romanesque architecture, its oldest part is its two-storey bell tower, whose construction began in the 11th century and which was inaugurated in 1288. Since then, it has been destroyed and rebuilt several times: the bell tower was notably fortified and armed with watchtowers in the 14th century. Burned down during the religious wars at the end of the 16th century, it was rebuilt
The corners of the tower are made of cut sandstone, while the walls are made of schist cut on the spot in a coarser way. Entering, on the right, under the small vault, one can see the quality of this assembly. The church has barrel vaults resting on twin columns. Inside there is a romantic organ, a neo-gothic chapel on the right of the nave, as well as 19th century furniture: statues of Joan of Arc, the parish priest of Ars, and the Sacred Heart.
