The church… Romanesque of course, with a gabled bell tower is dedicated to Saint Michael. The largest bell dates from 1910 and the second from 1893. Both were cast by Ursulin Dencausse of Tarbes. The semi-circular apse has a cornice with modillions, some of which have retained their sculptures (animals) with three splayed windows. The semicircular portal is composed of a tympanum with a chrism on a cushion. It was restored with the altarpiece between 1991 and 1997. This village was destroyed by fire in the 18th century
Inside, there is an exhibition of an ancient chrism which was used as a lintel and came from a chapel on the road leading to Saligos which has since disappeared. This lintel would have served as an example for the realization of other lintels in the area, including those of Viella and Sers. To the left of the Chrism, two rosettes rest on arches, doors of the temple of the heavenly Jerusalem? On the right, lozenges and a cross support two birds drinking from a chalice, symbol of immortality. They are flanked on the right by two other birds contemplating a host or the sun
The chevet is admirably decorated with a popular style altarpiece and a baroque tabernacle from the XVII-XVIII centuries. It was restored in 1997. The tabernacle seems to be composed of two parts of different origin, one of which may have come from the former chapel mentioned above. In the centre of the altarpiece, Saint Michael, patron saint of the church, wearing a scallop shell and slaying the dragon (evil), is flanked on his left by Saint Peter and on his right by Saint Sebastian, whose body is pierced by arrows. Above, God the Father is enthroned. On the attic, the twisted columns are topped by fire pots.
