Come and spend a day on the farm : visit, free, as and when you like, our goat farm/dairy and our pigs raised in the open air. Through the dairy windows, you can see Rocamadour AOP Farmhouse goat’s cheese being made. At lunchtime, in summer, choose your picnic basket contents from the selection we provide, and take part in milking the goats at 17.00 (milking by hand in summer). Free tasting in our shop. We produce : from our goats, Rocamadour AOP Farmhouse cheese, “tommes”, curd cheese and milk, dry sausage and cooked dishes. Pork : cured and salted meats, boxes of fresh meat, cooked dishes. We offer : Free, unrestricted visits, tasting,… Guided tours : please ask us for details.La Borie d’Imbert educational farm is located in the centre of a 22-hectare agricultural estate 2km from the famous village of Rocamadour. It is in the barn of the estate that you can visit the goat farm and cheese dairy, not forgetting the pigs reared in the open air next door. Through the windows of the cheese dairy, you will discover the production of the famous Rocamadour PDO farmhouse before a free tasting at the shop. In summer, it is possible to eat on the spot by composing a picnic basket and to take part in the milking of the goats every evening at 5pm. (Hand milking in summer).
