This fortress was built by Jean le Bon, King of France, in the 14th century,
to protect the Abbey and the Saint-André area.
You can visit the twin towers, the Tour des Masques, and the Romanesque chapel of NotreDame de Belvezet.
From the walkway around the fort, you have magnificent views over Villeneuve, Avignon, the Rhône valley, Mont-Vento
