About
Histelpost is dedicated to the history of communication and has two main objectives: to collect, restore and showcase documents, items and materials that relate to this history; and to share, via interactive guided tours, its knowledge of and interest in the evolution of the French postal and telecommunications service through different periods in history. The museum exhibits are organised by theme: letters and postal equipment, the aerial and electric telegraph, the public telephone, telephone handsets over time, manual and automatic telephone communication and the wireless telegraph.
