The Jardin du Bosquet, classified as a picturesque site in 1936, is one of the historical treasures of the seaside resort of Carnon. A continuation of the canal banks, it used to be a landscaped and landscaped strolling area. The restoration of this garden, due to start in September 2021, will give a new lease of life to this remarkable green lung between town and sea. Designed by architect Vincent Chapal, in collaboration with the garden?s landscape designer, Cécile Mermier, as well as the Dreal and Udapr departments, and built by the O?Pure company, it is positioned at the corner of the garden to allow strollers to contemplate the site. LED lighting highlights its lines in the evening. Like much of the garden?s street furniture, the building is made of Corten, a material adapted to the seaside and made of self-levelling steel. Children?s play equipment, benches, sunbeds and armchairs invite you to relax. An energy distribution terminal supplies power for the festivities. The garden is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
