The inspiration for this garden in the middle of the vilage comes from the mediaeval period. It is divided into several square plots: the first is for food: the kitchen garden. This contains plants for cooking, plants whose seeds or roots were used, and members of the cucurbitaceae family. The second square contains medicinal plants. The third is the Garden of Mary with flowers for cutting in order to decorate the church altars (lilies, marguerites,etc.) The final square comprises aromatic plants, dye plants and textile plants.This medieval-inspired garden is set in the heart of the village. There are several squares: the first is for food: the vegetable garden. Here you’ll find plants for cooking, roots, seeds and cucurbits. The second is the carré des simples, with medicinal plants. The third is Mary’s garden, with flowers for altar bouquets (lilies, daisies, etc.). The last square features aromatic plants, dye plants and textile plants.
