About

The honey house is a dive into the world of bees and honey, nature and the heritage of the Corbières..
Accompanied by a beekeeper, you will enter a building specially dedicated to bees and their role in the environment. You will understand the mysteries of this world thanks to the explanations of the guide illustrated by educational panels, dismountable hives, cameras..
The beekeeper will not hesitate to open a populated hive that you will observe in complete safety behind a bay or thanks to the large screens.
The explanations will continue at the Honey House where you will go through the extraction workshop. In season, children are sometimes called upon to participate and enjoy the freshly harvested honey.

La miellerie, c’est une plongée dans l’univers des abeilles et du miel, de la nature et du patrimoine des Corbières… Accompagné d’un apiculteur, vous entrerez dans un bâtiment tout spécialement dédié aux abeilles et à leur rôle dans l’environnement. Vous comprendrez les mystères de ce monde grâce aux explications de l’accompagnant illustrées par des panneaux pédagogiques, des ruches démontables, des caméras… L’apiculteur n’hésitera pas à ouvrir une ruche peuplée que vous observerez en toute sécurité derrière une baie ou grâce aux grands écrans. Les explications se poursuivront à la Miellerie où vous passerez par l’atelier d’extraction. En saison, il arrive que les enfants soient appelés à participer et à se délecter du miel fraîchement récolté. Pour finir, une dégustation des produits de la miellerie vendus sur place (miel, pain d’épices, hydromel, pollen…).
