About

The first museum dedicated to the history of Mechanic Art, covering the period from 1868 with the velocipede to 1969 with Apollo XI’s historic moon landing. Over 101 years, explore a collection of 101 works, including posters, photos, drawings, paintings, embroideries, and postcards showcasing the evolution of cars, bicycles, boats, and planes. The museum is a proud partner of the FFVE. In celebration of the 150 years of Mechanic Art, there’s a free visit to the exhibition gallery featuring works by contemporary artists. Additionally, there’s a special exhibition showcasing the latest works and a new book by Fernando Costa. Visits are also available by appointment.
