About
Gallo-Roman Villa of Séviac
Few kilometres away from Montréal-du-Gers you will find the Villa of Séviac, a luxurious Gallo-Roman residence.
Located high up in the heart of the vines, this site is renowned for its rich and exceptional collection of antique mosaics (625m2, the largest in France) and the remains of its private thermal baths. This villa is a great example of Gallo-Roman aristocratic architecture of the 4th century.
Visiting this place is an invitation to go back in time and immerse yourself in the ancient way of life of the owners.
You can extend the experience by discovering the daily life of a Gallo-Roman city with the ‘Domus de Cieutat’ and the Museum of Treasures in Eauze, two other sites of ELUSA, the Ancient Capital.
