LA GRELINETTE

About

La Grelinette is a small Ferme-Auberge located in the Poul’Art Oasis campsite, offering mainly vegetarian food (although there are still galettes with Didier’s delicious ham for those who like it), grown using agroecology, local and seasonal produce, in a friendly atmosphere that’s modern, recycled, colourful and rural all at the same time.

The tables laid out in the flower garden, in the shade of the fig trees, beside the small pond, are particularly pleasant for relaxing in peace and quiet, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The main aim of our hostel is to encourage people to get together and enjoy a varied, simple, family-style cuisine based on two main dishes: – the buckwheat galette (buckwheat) and the crêpe (wheat, small spelt), cereals milled at the Moulin de la Lieuze in Monblanc, – the “assiette paysanne”, which consists mainly of garden vegetables in salads and spreads (hummus, pestos, goat’s cheese spreads from our cheese dairy), bread from Le Fournil de Poul’Art, baked on site over a wood fire (some of our flour is produced by the Moulin de la Lieuze), and a delicious dessert. – We also serve local ice creams (from Ferme de l’Omière) and Ardéchois ice creams (from Terre Adélice! Ardéchois, faithful heart, they say…). Children are welcome in this friendly environment, with plenty of books and indoor and outdoor games to keep them interested in coming to the restaurant. Meals are prepared on the farm with more than half the ingredients produced on site, as required by the Ferme Auberge specifications. Guests are offered locally produced wines and beers, as well as apple juice, cider and homemade soft drinks, which are also made on the farm.
