The 215 "Millau - Meyrueis" liO bus explores the Gorges du Tarn and Causses & Cévennes area. The latter is a unique haven for agro-pastoralism in Mediterranean Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Rivière-sur-Tarn

20 minutes from Millau. Stop: Le Bourg. Rivière sur Tarn was the first village in Aveyron to be built on the plain beside the Tarn River.

The gorges here have become very wide, making them ideal for growing vegetables, fruit (cherries) and vines (Côtes de Millau wine). Find out more.

Peyreleau

40 minutes from Millau. Stop: Le Bourg.A "Petite Cité de Caractère" at the meeting point between the Tarn and Jonte gorges. Peyreleau is one of those small Aveyron villages where you can only get around on foot. There's nothing for it, just take your time and enjoy yourself.

Hures-La-Parade

45 minutes from Millau. Stop: Les Douzes. The hamlet of Hures-La-Parade is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

It's home to countless visitor attractions including Moulin de la Borie,Aven Armand, Ferme Caussenarde d'Autrefois and Fédou cheesemongers. The TAKH association is also based here to get Przewalski's horses used to their future Mongolian steppes. Find out more

Meyrueis

1 hour from Millau. Stop: Office du tourisme. Its exciting history as a trade and industry town (wool, hats etc.) means Meyrueis still has lots of medieval landmarks, especially in the town centre and Pont de Six Liards bridge.

It's close to Dargilan Cave, the Maison des Vautours vulture centre and lots of outdoor activities. Find out more
