La Cavalerie

20 minutes from Millau. Stop: Av. G. de Gaulle. The medieval town of La Cavalerie is one of the gateways to a land influenced by agropastoralism.

It gets its incredible heritage from the Knights Templar and Hospitallers. The fortified, listed and protected village is a sight for sore eyes: the Hospitaller church, ramparts, 12th century Templar castle, bread oven, washhouse, mill and a maze of streets lined with manors, typical Causse houses and shops. 50 minutes from Millau. Stop: Centre. Nant lies deep in a leafy valley where two rivers meet: the Dourbie and Durzon.

Saint-Jean-du-Bruel

1 hour from Millau. Stop: Centre. Station Verte, St-Jean du Bruel is the ideal place for the practice of outdoor sports and offers a network of hiking star around the village, mountain bike circuits site VTT-FFC Larzac and Valleys and permanent trail trails.

Crossed by the river Dourbie, its plagette, located next to the holiday village, is equipped with pebbles and sand at the edge of one of the cleanest rivers in France.
