25 minutes from Aumont-Aubrac. Stop: Tourist Office. Nasbinals is a charming village located in Lozère, on the Aubrac. Considered the capital of the plateau, the village is made up of sturdy houses built in granite and basalt stones.
You can’t cross Nasbinals without stopping at the church of Sainte-Marie de Nasbinals. Octagonal bell tower, coloured materials, vault of ogives and statue of Saint Jacques de Compostelle: this beautiful architectural complex of dark granite is one of the jewels of Romanesque art in Aubrac and on the way to Saint Jacques de Compostelle.
