Limoux

45 min from Carcassonne. Stop: Gare SNCF. You can explore the Carcassonne - Limoux area by train too, it just depends which timetable suits you best.

Quillan

1 hr 34 from Carcassonne. Stop: Gare SNCF. Quillan is the little capital of the Aude Pyrenees. It's an international white water sports destination deep in the upper Aude Valley.

Axat

1 hr 48 from Carcassonne. Stop: Mairie. Like Quillan, this village is all about outdoor activities and white water sports.

Canoeing, kayaking, rafting and hydrospeeding in the Gorges de l'Aude are all on the agenda. The Red Train departs/arrives at Axat station.
