Maury

30 minutes from Perpignan. Stop: La Poste. Maury is an unspoilt winemaking village in the Fenouillèdes hinterland. It has so much to offer and an exciting, warm and bubbly personality.

Maury is famous for its Roussillon vins doux naturels dessert wine and is both the oldest and smallest Roussillon wine designation. The towers of Château de Quéribus reign over the hillside vineyards. Find out more.

Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet

1 h 2 from Perpignan. Stop: Place St Pierre. Nestled in a leafy haven full of vineyards between the sea and mountains, this Mediterranean village has two rivers running through it between the southern Corbières peaks.

Oozing history and heritage on the road to the most beautiful Cathar castles, Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet is a great place for a breath of fresh air. Electric shuttles (€1/trip) from Saint-Paul de Fenouillèdes are an easy option for reaching the Gorges de Galamus. Find out more.
