Lafrançaise

25 minutes from Montauban, or 27 minutes from Moissac. Stop: Place République. This village of Quercy Blanc crowns a promontory and dominates the large orchards that line the valley of the Tarn between Montauban and Moissac (viewpoint).

Bastide of medieval origin, Lafrançaise has a beautiful building. 20 minutes walk will take you to the Vallée des Loisirs (lake, canoe-kayak base, swimming pool, etc.). 30 minutes walk will take you to the beautiful chapel of Lapeyrouse, a curiosity in Roman-Byzantine style. Find out more.

Valence d'Agen

1h04 minutes from Montauban, or 21 minutes from Moissac. Stop: rue Jean Moulin. This bastide, founded in the 13th century, has always been a commercial town.

Its Tuesday morning market remains famous. Valence-d'Agen has a typical heritage of the South-West: you will discover 3 wash houses (including 2 classified Historical Monuments), 2 halls with cutlery, etc. Also stroll to the port-canal, haven of peace where are moored pleasure boats sailing on the Canal des Deux Mers.
