The Yellow Train, a train like no other on a line like no other, will take you on a vertiginous journey to the heights of the Cerdagne plateau ...

With bridges and aqueducts balancing between two mountains, via the highest railway station in France ... at an elevation of nearly 1,600 metres.

There, you need to signal the driver if you want to get on or off the train ...

... to discover citadels included on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

In Villefranche-de-Conflent: Take a stroll through this beautiful fortified Vauban town, a UNESCO World Heritage site ... ... and plan to get to the station approximately 30 minutes before the Yellow Train leaves (limited availability in summer).

In Mont-Louis: Here, too, you can see the Vauban fortifications that earned the citadel its UNESCO listing, then take the bus for a hike to Bouillouses Lake.

At Font-Romeu-Odeillo-Via: Get off the train and, either on foot or by bus, head to the admirable site of Font-Romeu where athletes from around the world come to train.
